Part-Time A/R - Temp

Our trusted client is looking for a trusted part-time Accounts Receivable admin for the month of December. 

The A/R admin will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and contributing to the maintenance of our financial health. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts, ensuring all payments are properly recorded and tracked.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups on outstanding invoices and communicate with customers to resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
  • Support the team in reconciling accounts.
  • Handle phone calls and answer inquiries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient payment processing and resolve any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role is desirable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 1 pm to 5 pm
