
Client Service Associate
The Applied Companies is recruiting for a Client Service Associate for a small insurance office providing support to multiple Financial Advisors. You will be working in their Securities environment providing support to three financial advisors specifically in 401k and wealth management. They are looking for a professional individual with strong administrative skills who has strong follow-up. A person who is willing to take initiative, can work independently and is eager to learn and grow with the firm.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of in-depth 401k Quarterly Reviews process for all existing clients
- Sending out quarterly request for enrollment information and preparing enrollment kits for the upcoming agent/broker meetings
- Processing enrollment paperwork – reviewing and submitting to the appropriate offices
- Assisting in the collecting and preparation of documentation for new 401k plans
- Assisting our clients with any service issues regarding their accounts
- Assisting our agents with any service items required
- Processing of business for individual life, health, disability and annuity products
- Preparing Investment Account paperwork at the Broker/Dealer and Custodial Company level
- Process Client Account Paperwork through our Broker/Dealer platforms
- Establish client files and maintain client data in CRM program
- Maintain confidentiality for clients
- General clerical including photocopying, faxing, mailing, and shipping
Requirements
- Three or more years of operational and client service experience within the financial services, banking or legal industries preferred
- Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent follow-up and follow-through capabilities
- Professional attitude, demeanor, and appearance
- Ability to take initiative and to work independently to research and resolve client issues
- Problem solving skills to determine the most efficient method of problem resolution while complying with corporate and regulatory procedures
- Understanding the appropriate paperwork and procedures necessary to process transactions
- Strong attention to detail with ability to multi-task
- Must be computer literate and proficient with Windows, Word, and Excel
- High degree of confidentiality with excellent work ethic
- Work both independently and within the team
- Knowledge of eMoney is a plus
Education
BA/BS Degree preferred
Office Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on Fridays. This job is a full-time position (38 Hrs. Per week) and is a temp-to-hire opportunity.
