What the Commercial Insurance Account Manager will do:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as the primary contact for clients.
- Provide timely and accurate policy service, including issuing certificates, processing endorsements, and handling renewals.
- Prepare insurance proposals, binders, and invoices; review policies for accuracy and completeness.
- Guide clients through the claims process and follow up with carriers to ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Review policy audits, assist with corrections, and facilitate communication between clients and carriers.
- Evaluate existing policies to identify gaps in coverage and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed on current market trends, product offerings, and carrier underwriting guidelines.
- Collaborate with producers and internal teams to ensure clients receive proactive, high-quality service.
- Support the promotion of new products and services through client education and ongoing communication.
What the Commercial Insurance Account Manager needs to have:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or client servicing.
- A current Property & Casualty Insurance License (Nevada or transferable).
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, endorsements, and risk assessment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with clients and carriers.
- High degree of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing deadlines.
- Proficiency in agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering quality service and accurate work.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
