What the Commercial Insurance Account Manager will do:

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as the primary contact for clients.
  • Provide timely and accurate policy service, including issuing certificates, processing endorsements, and handling renewals.
  • Prepare insurance proposals, binders, and invoices; review policies for accuracy and completeness.
  • Guide clients through the claims process and follow up with carriers to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the agency management system and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Review policy audits, assist with corrections, and facilitate communication between clients and carriers.
  • Evaluate existing policies to identify gaps in coverage and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay informed on current market trends, product offerings, and carrier underwriting guidelines.
  • Collaborate with producers and internal teams to ensure clients receive proactive, high-quality service.
  • Support the promotion of new products and services through client education and ongoing communication.

What the Commercial Insurance Account Manager needs to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or client servicing.
  • A current Property & Casualty Insurance License (Nevada or transferable).
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, endorsements, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with clients and carriers.
  • High degree of accountability, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in agency management systems (AMS360, EPIC, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering quality service and accurate work.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
