What the Sales Representative will do:

  • Identify and assess customer needs, providing tailored solutions utilizing internal products.
  • Prepare formal proposals for contractors, military entities, and aviation professionals.
  • Conduct presentations over Teams and in person by developing compelling visual presentations for both print and digital platforms.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, managing preparation and follow-up.
  • Record and document client activity in a CRM.
  • Maintain and update web content to enhance customer engagement and share project information with clients and contractors.
  • Support and strengthen relationships with the dealer network including military clients and contractors.
  • Expand the sales reach by refining the system for identifying and tracking potential projects.
  • Oversee contract review, negotiation, coordination, and administration.
  • Leverage technical knowledge of internal products to support and drive sales.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry advancements.

 What the Sales Representative needs to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Coachable to learn business processes and technical information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to create and provide polished proposals and presentations.
  • Strong drive to win, motivated by results, tenacity, and can appropriately advance a project to specify a BDI product and/or close a sale.
  • Experience in commercial or solution-based B2B sales is preferred with a background in a technical field (e.g. construction) with engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use a CRM platform to manage leads, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
