As a Logistics Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sector. You will leverage your industry knowledge, sales expertise, and relationship-building skills to expand the client base, promote services, and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet the unique needs of customers.

What you will do:

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the logistics sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Understand client needs and offer customized logistics solutions to address their challenges.

3. Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Demonstrate the value proposition of logistics services effectively.

4. Negotiation and Closing:

  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients to secure profitable business deals.
  • Close sales in a timely manner to achieve or exceed sales quotas.

5. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends and client needs.

6. Account Management:

  • Monitor client satisfaction and proactively address any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure continued business and identify upselling opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics sales, with a book of business you can bring (required).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics services, operational processes, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Very flexible work hours, however, you need to be available at all times whenever needed, including days, nights and weekends.
